The Redmi 12 smartphone is made of Polycarbonate with a metallic finish. The smartphone has a glass back with hints of blue and pink as light falls on it, which is a very premium and one-of-a-kind feature in this price range. 

The smartphone’s glass back is protected by gorilla glass. The smartphone’s upper corner houses a 3.5 mm headphone jack next to the IR blaster and noise-canceling microphone. 

The volume rockers and a fingerprint sensor mounted on the power button are on the body’s right side. On the bottom of the smartphone, there is a single-speaker grill.

The Redmi 12 smartphone’s IP53 water and splash resistance protects it from minor splashes and showers. However, you cannot submerge the smartphone or allow water to enter it.
