Design:

The Borosil Prima 60 Liters Oven Toaster Grill features a stainless steel body with dimensions of 70.5D x 56.5W x 47.5H cm and weighs 14.5kg. It is relatively heavy compared to the Faber 60L 2200W OTG, which weighs 12kg. This added weight is justified as the initial impression of this OTG is a solid oven with a large handle and a double glass door.

Power:

The Borosil Prima 60 Liters features a 2000W heating element. While some other OTGs on the market offer higher wattage, this OTG falls into the high-power category. It’s sufficient for all your cooking needs. An important feature to note is its fan circulation (Convection OTG), which ensures even heating, effectively transforming it into a convection oven. Notably, the lower capacity variants also come with the same power.

Time and Temperature:

The Borosil Prima 60 Liters OTG boasts a temperature range of 90°C – 250°C with 12 heating modes, offering extensive customization in heating levels. This wider temperature range is a strong point for this OTG. Moreover, it includes a 120-minute timer, a feature not commonly found in other OTGs. This timer is particularly useful for long-duration cooking recipes.

Features:

The Borosil Prima 60 Liters OTG features mechanical knob controls. However, it lacks digital control and display options, which might be a deal breaker for some. Considering its premium price segment, the absence of auto preset options could pose a challenge for beginners. The oven cavity is non-stick, and it comes with an internal light. The dropdown door handle design is suitable for ovens with large capacities.
