Design

The CMF Power 65V GaN adapter is made of polycarbonate, which protects it from external threats and shocks. The adapter includes three USB ports: USB-A, USB-C2, and USB-C1.

Charging 

The CMF Power 65V adapter is equipped with the most recent GaN technology, allowing for fast, energy-efficient, and safe charging. Some of the charging protocols that are supported include PD3.0, QC4.0+/3.0/2.0, SCP, FCP, PPS, AFC, Samsung 9V2A, DCP, and Apple 2.4A.

The input specifications of the Dapater are 200-240V ~ 50 / 60 Hz, 1.2A. The output specifications for each port are described below.

The charging cable with adapter is compatible with MFI-certified charging cables, allowing you to charge a variety of devices such as TWS, smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, and laptops. 

The CMF Power 65V adapter delivers up to 65W of power on USB-C ports and 36W on USB-A ports. When dual ports are used, the power divided between the two USB-C ports is 40W+20W. When the power is divided between USB-C1 and USB-A, the result is 45W+18W. 

When USB-A and USB-C2 are used together, the adapter’s power is divided into 7.5W and 7.5W. When using three ports, the charge power is divided into 7.5W for each port. 

The CMF Power 65V adapter can charge the Nothing Phone 2 up to 50% in just 25 minutes, demonstrating its fast charging capabilities.

Testing and Quality Checks

The CMF Power 65V adapter has been tested in a variety of situations and tests, making it a dependable and long-lasting adapter. The adapter has been dropped from a height of one meter 100 times. 

It has been tested with ac port plug-in/out tests 5000 times. Additionally, 10,000 tests for port-C plug-in and out functions have been performed. 3000 tets for plug-in and out tests on the USB-A port.

Power on and off tests were performed 10,000 times, as well as stress tests for 72 hours in temperatures ranging from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius. The adapter can easily withstand 45% for 96 hours of operation.
