This is the Crompton Energion series BLDC fan. With this fan, you can get a stylish look and dustproof blades, all for a Rs 4,050 price tag. The company is trying to present this fan as a royal piece, but it doesn’t quite capture the modern ceiling fan aesthetic.

Design

The Crompton Energion Stylus 1200mm is a ceiling fan with a royal and decorative appearance. It’s built with aluminum blades and body, weighing 5.16 kg, which places it in the slightly heavier BLDC ceiling fan category. In terms of design, it resembles the Crompton Energion series fan with silver and gold blade designs, similar to the previous BLDC fan from the Crompton brand.

This ceiling fan’s design is akin to that of an ordinary fan, with gilded and silver color patterns, and it lacks a light feature. The company claims that this BLDC fan comes with an Anti-Dust Technology coating on the blades, making it easier to clean every few months. The fan is available in various color choices:

Size & Air Flow

The Crompton Energion Stylus BLDC is a 3-blade ceiling fan with a blade length of 1200mm, which is considered the ideal length for blades. The fan provides an airflow of less than 220 cc/min (expected), which is lower than the capacity of other fans. This makes it a fan of choice more for its appearance than its airflow capacity.

Power & Speed

The Crompton Energion Stylus 1200mm Ceiling Fan features a 35 W motor made of 100% copper. While not the least powerful motor, it falls within a good range. It operates at a speed of 370 rpm and offers 5 levels of speed control, providing more speed modes than the previous model, only in terms of rpm.

The ActivBLDC Motor technology is used in this fan, providing a wide voltage range of 90V-300V. This is particularly useful in areas where low voltage fluctuations frequently occur. While its motor capacity might not be the best, the high rpm speed results in a noise level of 70db, making it noisier than other BLDC fans, which could be a concern.

Features

The Crompton Energion Stylus BLDC 1200mm Ceiling Fan is controlled via remote control. However, it’s important to note that it’s not an IoT-enabled BLDC fan and doesn’t offer Wi-Fi or IR connectivity options. In contrast to previous Energion models, the remote for this fan has a more standard appearance.

The 5-year warranty is noteworthy, as there are only a few BLDC fans that provide such an extended warranty period.
