“Hey, this is Sourabh Raikwar, and I’m reviewing the Fire-Boltt Blizzard smartwatch after one week of use. I have already reviewed many smartwatches on a daily basis, so I am well aware of the latest features of smartwatches.
Let’s start with the design of the Fire-Boltt Blizzard smartwatch. The smartwatch has a premium and classic appearance due to its metallic look. It doesn’t look like a typical smartwatch, which can be both a pro and a con. If you’re looking for a smartwatch that stands out, this may not be the best option. However, if you prefer a classic round look, this smartwatch is the best option under Rs 3,000. The build quality of the smartwatch is excellent, but adjusting the length of the stainless steel strap may be difficult for the first time. Fortunately, there is a tool included in the box for this purpose.
The smartwatch feels heavy in hand due to its stainless steel body, and it is rated with IP67, which exceeds the industry standard within its price range.
The smartwatch features a 1.28-inch IPS TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. If you’re a first-time smartwatch user, you may not notice any difference in the display. However, other smartwatches in this price range come with AMOLED displays, which offer better quality. Additionally, the always-on display feature, which gives your smartwatch a traditional analog watch look, is not available. The smartwatch does have built-in games, but playing games on a small display can be a struggle, especially if you have large fingers.
Due to its lower resolution display, controlling the smartwatch through its touch display may not be as smooth. However, it does show smartphone notifications instantly.
The battery backup is decent, providing seven days of usage. However, it takes 360 minutes (6 hours) to fully charge the battery, which is the longest charging time. This is not ideal, but the smartwatch does offer 30 days of standby time, which is good.
Now, let’s talk about the most important part of a smartwatch: health features. The Fire-Boltt Blizzard smartwatch offers 120 sports modes, which is a good number, and the accuracy is decent. It also includes a barometer, gyro sensor, accelerometer, and a light sensor for auto-brightness. The watch can measure your SpO2, heart rate, sleep patterns, and calorie count 24/7. You can check your health history on the Fire-Boltt Health App, but please note that there is no built-in GPS sensor.
This is a Bluetooth-calling smartwatch that comes with a speaker and a microphone. The speaker is quite loud, and I tried playing YouTube videos on the smartwatch speaker, which performed quite well. You can also sync your phone contacts for quick dialing and check your smartphone’s call logs.
There are also some smart features available, such as camera and music control, alarm, reminder, timer, DND (Do Not Disturb), and flashlight. However, due to the small screen, the flashlight is not very bright.
In conclusion, if you are looking for a men’s smartwatch with a classy watch-like appearance and a metal body, the Fire-Boltt Blizzard is a good choice. It offers decent features under the Rs 3,500 price tag. However, if you are a health-conscious person, you may want to explore other smartwatches.”
