Design

The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS is made up of polycarbonate material. This is a semi-open earbud with Jabra ShakeGrip technology that fits perfectly into the ar to provide sweat-proof interior of the ears.  

These earbuds are one of the toughest built in the TWS category and can withstand harsh external environments. The Earbuds have specially designed silicon padding that makes them easier and more compact to fit the user’s ear. It is available in round monobud form, which accommodates the ear cavity without the use of a tube. 

The earbud case is cylindrical in shape with rounded corners, allowing it to fit comfortably inside a pocket or in a small space. It also includes an LED indicator that serves as a battery status and firmware update status indicator. 

The TWS Case has dimensions of 24.4mm x 46.9mm x 65.4mm. The earbuds are also 19.7mm x 19.7mm x 29mm in size. The case and earbuds weigh approximately 46.4 and 5 grams, respectively, and are both extremely light and comfortable.

Both the case and the earbuds of the Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS are water and dust-resistant. The case is IP54 water and dust-resistant, while the earbud is IP68 water and dust-resistant.

Sound

The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS comes with miniature 6mm Drivers, which are very small in comparison to other TWS, but they perform admirably in comparison to other TWS with larger Drivers. 

The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS includes Dolby Atmos Tunes Spatial Sound Effect, which creates a sense of 3 3-dimensional Audio Cloud around the user, making it feel like live music and bass are being delivered directly to the ears. 

Despite the noise cancellation feature, the TWS allows Heathorugh, which keeps the transparency of your surroundings on. The TWS features mono mode and SideTone.

The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS has an Adaptive Hybrid Activated Noise Cancellation Feature that is 1.6x more efficient and effective than other Brands’ normal ANC modes. The TWS provides the following ANC modes:

• HearThrough- This allows background ambient noises to be synced with music or calls without canceling the noise, allowing the user to remain aware of their surroundings. 
• ANC OFF- only allows music and phone calls while canceling out the constant ambient noises. 
• ANC ON- cancels out all kinds of noises and ambient noises with isolated music or call voices. this is the most satisfying and user-dedicated mode. 

The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS includes three MEMS microphones in each earbud, for a total of six microphones. These microphones are strategically placed so that they capture every detail of your voice while on the phone. 

It has a music mode speaker bandwidth of 20Hz – 20000Hz and a speaker mode speaker bandwidth of 100Hz – 8000Hz. TWS also has auto-resume and auto-pause music features. 

The TWS’s vocal performance is highly commended, with a perfect blend of bass and musical notes. The TWS’s adjustable EQ makes it an excellent choice for a variety of applications. 

Features

The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS includes jabraSound+ APP support, allowing you to choose between custom EQ and other settings within the earbud. 

The TWS supports EQ Modes, which are tuned in accordance with the Dolby acoustic signature to create a one-of-a-kind setting of premium music quality. 

The built-in voice assistants on the Jabra Elite 10 TWS support both Google Assistant and Siri. These voice assistants allow the user to control them without physically touching them. 

Connectivity

 The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS has Multi-point support. This feature allows you to seamlessly switch between your smartphone, smartwatch, and laptop. The TWS Omes comes with the most recent and fastest Bluetooth 5.3 Cnnecitivyt/. 

The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS includes a stable smartwatch connectivity feature that allows you to connect your TWS to a smartwatch. It supports Bluetooth low energy, allowing it to function even in fluctuating signals. 

The TWS has a sufficient effective operating range of 10 metres. Bluetooth codes in the TWS also support A2DP v1.3, AVRCP v1.6, HFP v1.8, PBP V1.0, and TMAP V1.0. The TWS works with iOS and Android devices and supports SwiftPair as well as FastPair technology. 

You can pair up to ten devices simultaneously, which is a really cool and useful feature, especially if we are using them for work or something creative. The Bluetooth is turned off when removed from the case and immediately turned back on when placed inside. 

The Bluetooth also turns off the TWS if the device is not paired to any device for 15 minutes or if it has not detected any activity in 30 minutes, which is important for saving battery and connection searches. 

Battery and Charging

 The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS is powered by an unspecified capacity li-polymer battery. The TWS provides separate battery backup for Music with and without ANC Modes, as shown below. 

Playback with ANC OFF:

1. Music time total ANC off (earbuds & charging case)- Upto 56 hours
2. Music time ANC off (earbuds)- Upto 14 hours

Playback with ANC ON:

1. Music time total ANC on(earbuds & charging case)- Upto 32 hours
2. Music time with ANC (earbuds)- Upto 8 Hours

 The Jabra Elite 8 Active TWS supports both wired and wireless charging. In wired mode, it has fast charging capabilities, allowing you to get up to an hour of music playback from a 5-minute charge.

The TWS requires 3 hours to fully charge. The TWS has a massive standby time of up to 315 days with the help of sleep mode, which is significantly longer than any other TWS in any category.
