This TWS Earbuds are ideal for music lovers and come with fast charging, Google Fast Pair, and sound customization through the JBL app.

Design

The JBL Tune 235NC ANC is an in-ear wireless earbud constructed with a plastic body that has an IPx4 rating, making it sweat and dust-resistant. The weight of the TWS earbuds is 58g, which is slightly considered heavyweight. The single earbud weighs 5.1g, also slightly heavy compared to other TWS earbuds.

The TWS earbuds have a tube-type design with soft silicone earbuds. JBL also includes extra ear tips in the box, which is a good addition.

On the charging case and TWS earbuds, there are simple LED lights for battery indicators, but they do not feature RGB lighting.

Sound

The JBL Tune 235NC TWS Earbuds come with a 6mm driver that delivers JBL Pure Bass sound. This feature ensures a decent amount of bass despite the small driver size. In terms of music clarity, it excels in this segment.

These TWS earbuds also offer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with ambient sound awareness, thanks to the 4 microphones integrated into the design.

Features

The JBL Tune 235NC TWS Earbuds are controlled through touch controls.

Sound, especially the bass, is customizable through the Headphones App.

Google Fast Pair is included for seamless connectivity.

Note that these earbuds do not come with a gaming mode or low latency mode, which may not
be justified given their price range.

Connectivity

The JBL Tune 235NC TWS Earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting to Android, iOS, and Windows devices. Despite being a slightly older version, it offers a sufficient 10m range.

Battery and Charging

The JBL Tune 235NC TWS Earbuds have a 750mAh battery capacity in the charging case and 70mAh in each single earbud, which is commendable.

These earbuds provide up to 40 hours of battery life, with 30 hours in the case and 10 hours in a single earbud. Note that this battery life estimation is without ANC; with ANC, it provides 30 hours in the case and 8 hours in a single earbud.

They also support 10-minute fast charging, providing 120 minutes of playtime. A full charge through the Type-C charging port takes approximately 1.5 hours, which is decent for this category.
