Design

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r are in-ear True Wireless Earbuds. The TWS is made of lightweight yet durable polycarbonate material. The TWS is water and dust resistant to IP55 standards, protecting it from showers and sweat exposure. 

The  TWS Case has a cuboidal shape with round edges, making it easy to keep in a pocket while also giving it a softer and cuter appearance. There is also a Single LED Blinker Charging Indicator. Oneplus has redesigned the packaging, which now comes in Fun Nord Emoji-themed boxes.

The TWS has dimensions of 2.9 x 2 x 2.3 cm. The TWS’s ultralight weight of only 31 grams is one of its most user-friendly features. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r’s 12.4 mm Titanium Coated Dynamic Drivers deliver exceptional audio quality and powerful boosted bass. The TWS is slim and ergonomically designed to give you the best spatial sound effect possible. 

The TWS includes a Dirac Audio Tuner and Dolby Atmos support, which work together to provide you with flagship music and audio quality when paired with a host Oneplus device. 

The TWS comes with a Sound Master Equaliser and HEyMelody app support. These equalizers offer three distinct audio profiles: Balanced, Bold, and Bass.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r has a total of four microphone setups, with dual microphones for each earbud. The TWS includes an AI Clear Call Algorithm that automatically cancels out wind and other noises that are interfering with your audio. 

Features

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r Comes with heyMelody App Support for customizing audio profiles and activating various TWS modes. 

It includes Dedicated Touch Controls for controlling and accessing the TWS. Incoming calls can be answered and rejected. Play and pause the current track, or navigate to the next and previous tracks.  

A dedicated gaming mode is included with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r. It supports 94 ms Low LAtency mode, which is insufficient for a high-end gamer. Many TWS with lower costs offer lower latency rates.

Connectivity

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r has Bluetooth Connectivity version 5.3. It has a better-than-average operating range of 15 meters. The TWS includes OnePlus Fast Pair Technology, which allows the TWS to be quickly connected to OnePlus and other devices. 

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r are compatible with both Android And iOS Devices. 

Battery and Charging

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r comes with a 480 mAh Li-Polymer battery in the case, 36 mAh in single earbuds. The TWS Has a variable battery backup for calling and music modes, which are specified as follows. 

Calling Mode:

• Total Phone Call Backup (Buds + Case) = 20 Hours
• Continuous Phone calls (Buds Only) = 4 Hours

Music Mode:

• Total Music Playback (Buds + Case) = 38 Hours
• Total Music playback (Buds only) = 8 Hours

The brand has not provided the total charging time required. It supports USB-C-based Fast Charge technology.
