Xiaomi’s popular smartphone series, Redmi Note, has announced its latest addition to its lineup, the Redmi Note 12R Pro. The smartphone was introduced in China on April 29, 2023, and comes with a 120Hz OLED display from Samsung. The display also has SGS low blue light eye protection certification, making it easier on the eyes. The Redmi Note 12R Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, offering up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Additionally, the smartphone is 5G supported.
The company teased the smartphone’s image on Weibo’s website, showing it available in Black, White, and Gold colors, with a dual rear camera that includes a 48MP main camera.
Xiaomi is known to launch its smartphones under different names in India, so the Redmi Note 12R Pro may have a different name when it is launched in India. The company has yet to announce a launch date for the Indian market. More information about the phone will be available soon.
