In terms of design, it resembles the Crompton Energion Cromair and Energion Stylus combination BLDC fan, which were previous BLDC fan models by Crompton.

The company claims that the Crompton Energion Cromair Plus 1200mm’s blades provide 30% more coverage compared to normal fans. However, this claim isn’t entirely accurate, as several other factors contribute to improved airflow coverage, which will be discussed below.

This ceiling fan boasts a decorative design suitable for modern homes, but it lacks a light feature. The company states that this BLDC fan is equipped with ANTI-DUST BLADES coating on the blades, reducing the need for frequent cleaning.

The fan provides an airflow of 220 cc/min, offering a slightly lower capacity when compared to other fans. In this regard, the fan’s performance is average, similar to its predecessor BLDC fans.

Power & Speed

The Crompton Energion Cromair Plus 1200mm Ceiling Fan boasts a 28 W motor made entirely of copper. Although not the lowest-powered motor, it falls within a reasonable range. Operating at a speed of 350 rpm, it offers 5 levels of speed control, representing an upgrade in this segment.

The fan utilizes ActivBLDC Motor technology, which provides a wide voltage range of 90V-300V. This technology proves beneficial in areas with frequent low voltage fluctuations. Notably, this technology is present in every Crompton Energion BLDC fan, essentially making it a hallmark of Crompton’s BLDC motor.

While the motor’s capacity might not be the highest, it’s important to highlight that achieving maximum airflow with the lowest possible RPM is crucial to minimize noise generation, as higher RPMs often result in increased noise levels.
